New VAM® Field service site in <br> Texas to serve the Permian Basin

The market of the Permian Basin, a major region for oil production, is expanding quickly in west Texas and southeast New Mexico, in the United States. To support this development, Vallourec’s American subsidiary, VAM USA, will open a new VAM® Field Service office in the town of Odessa. Today, the network of VAM® Field Service offices numbers 230 engineers, located in 11 regional hubs, who can be mobilized and sent to a platform at any moment for production, support or optimization. The new office will support the growing number of VAM® customers in the Permian Basin. Eric Shuster, President of VAM USA explains: “VAM USA provides its customers with field services 24/7. The key to our success is working together with our customers to supply them with the best advice, running support, and tooling to reduce Non-Productive-Time, optimize running operations, and bring value over the life of their projects”. This brings the number of VAM® Field Service offices to six in the United States, with three in Texas, one in Louisiana, one in Oklahoma, and one in Pennsylvania.
